Hello

I wholeheartedly surrendered my life to the Lord during my first week of college. The year following college, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to serving and discipling others. I took a year off immediately after college and joined a servant leadership program where I lived in a community with four other young ladies. We shared a home, meals, and devotional times. We each worked in the community and my job was at a local soup kitchen. I had the privilege of packaging meals for families, serving lunch, leading in devotion, and mentoring children in the afternoons. During my time at the soup kitchen, I felt God leading me to pursue a career in education. I taught middle school for nine years. As the years advanced, I noticed that I had become even more concerned about my students' emotional and mental states, which led me to pursue and earn a master’s degree in guidance and counseling. Currently, I am in my sixteenth year as a high school counselor.
